Fun day on the water for the first trip of the season. The sheephead,
redfish, and drum on congregating offshore as they always do in early spring so for our first trip of the season. So Ms. Mae, my lady Ines, and I headed for the Sound. Rolled up to one rig and packed the front box with 6 redfish, 3 drum, and a polishing of solid sheephead. Talk about a blast! Could have kept many, many, more but stopped when the front box was full. Greeted with fast action and peeling drag at the first drop at the first stop. Fish are biting, boat is running great, time to go fishing!
