Got out today with a couple, Sun from San Diego and Michael from St. Louis. It was their first Louisiana fishing experience and they had a blast. I put my friend Destiny into the crew to help with netting ect. We all a great day out there.

Started in Eloi closer to the inside but the tide was not moving at all. I was already headed over towards the Sound when I heard all the guys were on a good bite. I stopped off before I got to them when I saw a big stack of mullet getting scattered. First cork out 4lb trout. Really beefy fish comming in the boat one right after another for about 30 minutes then it slowed down. Managed 4 big reds just the right size. And another prize of the day were some spanish mackerel. Sun told me on the way out her favorite fish was mackerel and I said we would try to get her some. Well we did. plenty. ;D We stuffed that 94q ice chest with big trout, reds, and mackerel until we could not close the lid. Got the rest of our catch out where the guys were working them over. Jakamo was finishing up when I got there and let me take a turn with um after he rolled out. More purdy specks jumped on board shortly after. Great day to be out there, and The guys were nice enough to donate part of their catch to our charity poboys. Thanks y'all!

All fish were caught 2' under popping cork with Campo's live shrimp. Fun day. Tip of the day, look for large packs of finger mullet and fish under um.
