Had Adrian and his wife Lisa in ma boat yesterday for a morning of fighing. They were in town for Jazz Fest and wanted to fish the morning before they hit the road for San Antonio.

We headed straight for the rocks and got right on a good bite. Bunch of finger mullet with fish of all sorts under them. They were having a blast watching that cork go down every cast as something devoured theur live shrimp. We were working the trout over pretty good when some Bull reds blew through. Adrian was first to hook up with his biggest redfish ever. I joked, they don't make everything bigger in Texas. Even ended up with a couple bulls small enough to eat. Heh good problem to have to hope your next fish is a smaller one. Couple nice 3-4ft sharks rolled through. Dolphins all over playing with our fish. We even hand fed one a ladyfish! Amazing sometimes the life we have in our water. Lisa was next to strike on a big red, also her biggest. Ended early with 31 fat trout and 2 keeper bulls before they decided it was time to start that long drive to San Antonio. All fish were donated to our New Orleans Charity Po-Boy Give-aways! Thanks guys! Fun day with a really relaxed and easy going crew. Had some awesome video but my camera ate it!
