Gnatja fish thief!

Packed the box again yesterday with Gary, Brittany, and Nick. Gary grew up in St Bernard parish and never gets to go fishing anymore and both Brittany and Nick had not fished in years. So was great to get Gary back to what he grew up around and the other of the crew introduced into what the marsh has to offer.

We started close but could not get a bite going so made the run up to Biloxi. Nice clean water and tide falling like a river all day, it was just a matter of time until we got on a bite. First bite we got on was throwing corks near a shoreline. Not fast and furious but BIG marsh trout. We had some beasts coming in the boat fishing 4' under corks with live shrimp and white 3' gulps. We had about 40-50 When I decided we wanted quantity over quality. We made a couple moves and ended up tight lining and drifting deep corks over oysters for every cast insane action. Still catching some chunky 1-1.5 lb fish. Ended the day with 100 beautiful speckled trout and about 30 bonus whites. One white had to go bout 2lb, thing pulled drag...
