Been on the water so much lately I have not been able to get behind the computer. This report is about a week old. The specks are starting to warm up as the water cools down in Biloxi Marsh. I had the pleasure of fishing with Destiny, Asher, and his father Philmore for a morning trip. We got on an excellent bite of speck under popping corks early in a small backwater. Then as it faded off we made a move to a bend in a small bayou over some oyster shells and got on a fast bite of mixed white and specks tight lined. I would say thats a good tip this time of year to hit the corks early and switch to tight lining as the sun get up. And try to find some oysters. Anyways that bite came to an abrupt halt when someone come down the bayou ran right over the fish. I don't blame the guy though it was narrow and no where else to go. Guys were happy and ready to hit the dock after the second bite shut down. Really pleasant day with good people who don't get to fish a lot. Heh always easy to please.
