PhotobucketHad Randy, his son Rusty, and Ramsey with his son Gavin yesterday. We had hopes of getting out after big Breton fish, but 15-20 MHP NE winds had a different plan. We changed tactics and tried sheltered rigs on the northeat of Eloi with zero results. Made a move over to the Morgan Habor/Christmas camp lake area and got a a fast and furious bite on specks and white trout. Not Breton size but action could not be matched with serious triples and QUADS! Ended up with about 150 fish with a 40/60 white trout to speck ratio. Oh and a bonus 10 channel mullet.

And when we had a full box of trout and shrimp got low we switched gears to redfish. Headed all the way across to the west side to Fortuna and hammered the big reds to top off the box. Think we had about 8 when we headed for the dock. Everyone got their drag pulled with a multiple doubles. GREAT day of fishing with a couple dad's and their boys. I really enjoyed putting them on some fish.
