Hit the water couple days ago with the mission of catching some trout to use for free poboy charity give away in New Orleans. Brought my girl and a couple friends and got out early. We went long again into Breton with the seas just calm enough to get out there. Live shrimp and croakers under corks were the ticket again. And when they slowed down we tight lined to keep the bite going. Big females in the morning with males moving in later for fast action. Was a great day with the bite never stopping we could have caught more but left um biting when the box would not shut.

Had a really good time on the water, and for a good cause. If anyone is ever interested in a charity charter with fish going to people who need it, just give me a call. You catch um, I'll cook um and give um to folks. You would be surprised how good it feels to see that look on someone's face when you give um something just because you can, not because you want something in return.

So come experience South Louisiana fishing at its best! Salty Dog Charters will guide you to your ultimate day of speckled trout, redfish, and flounder fishing. Whether its in the marsh or offshore Salty Dog Charters is a great choice for your New Orleans greater area fishing adventure! Book a charter with us today!
