Saw something yesterday I have not seen this fall in Biloxi Marsh. A school of about 30 big bulls in 2' clear water swimming tight formations a mullet would be proud of. They half spooked from me and headed back down the bank, but a cast of Johnson-minnow gold spoon turned two around to wake it in pursuit. Let the spoon fall to the bottom and the first to it slurped it up. I noticed in general more redfish in the marsh, fun stuff all day with reds easy to see in the ultra low tide and clear water. I got into them best in the Bayous off Crooked.

All the other players were out as well. Found trout in a bend of a bayou that emptied into a pond. They were tucked in close to the tide current where the little bayou emptied in. Shrimp and storm minnows under a cork. Major change I noticed was all keepers with 2 throw backs before I hit 25. Maybe the cold snaps are bringing in some bigger fish.

Another little bonus yesterday I found a bend in a bayou off Muscle Bay with some tide movement that was simply full of sheephead... Caught bunch of those and 2 drum mixed and decided I had as many of those as I wanted to clean.

Headed back to the MRGO to finish up on flounder. They did not let me down as I found 10 willing flatfish. Same as usual with these guys just fish SLOW. Bonus I was throwing out some of bait shrimp for the day and decided what the heck I'll drop down a little on a hook and see who comes up. Finished with a little pack of tasty channel mullets that could not resist the smell of stanky bait-shrimp.

See yall on the water,
