The sea she is bountiful mates! Hopedale continues to produce big catches, big fish, and nice variety. Fished lake Eugenie, Biloxi Marsh, and MRGO.

Trout were in Eugenie against the northeast bank. All the west wind was blowing bait into a little cove with some tide coming out of it. Cork did not stop when it hit the water. I was using gulp shrimp 4" white and the real deal. They wanted anything you gave um and limited in no time. Mostly schoolies but did find a couple nicer trout casting away from the action right up on the grass with storm minnows.

The reds I found in little creek and bayous that flow in, through, or around small ponds in the Muscle Bay area. Just look for creeks with birds and bait. I found a mess of Bulls up in one little creek that fed a pond and came out the other side. Was funny I hooked one from a-top my center console sight fishing and with 30lb braid and tight drag he ALMOST pulled my off my little podium. Was fun fishing with very clear water it was no problem sight fishing them in 2' water. Only problem I had was find some small enough to grill! Ended up moving to couple other ponds and got my slots.

Flounders I found again in the MRGO. low tide had to fish little deeper but still 2-5'. Best tip I can give ya on the flounders is fish slow. I was happy to get a few to take to my folks for Thanksgiving. And boy did the flounder gods not let me down, I caught my biggest flounder to date. 25" monster that fought like a bull red. I thought I was never going to get that thing in the net. I plan to take him to T-day dinner and stuff him, might even put an apple in his mouth lol.

Day ended well also. Got to meet the infamous stealth fishermen Recon Valhalla. He and his first mate were there harassing people cleaning their fish since they limited out early. heh Thanks for the victory beers guys yall cracked me up... That mullet on the gold spoon was hilarious. Also good to meet Century and I believe the other feller at the dock went by "Weakfish?".

So at my home for this holiday dinner, "To heck with the turkey, pass the flounder!". See yall on the water!
