Had a couple from the east coast down for an absolutely awesome day on the water.  Jeff and April were celebrating April's birthday with a trip down to the big easy.  No art gallery's and hipster concerts for these guys they came out for some real Louisiana culture with me out in the salty seas.  Had a great time out there with a little wait in the morning for the tide to start rollin' but once it did we could not keep a bait in the water without some big nasty sea creature taking off with it.  We caught bull redfish from 15-30lbs, Spanish Mackerel, and three types of sharks on a frenzied bite that lasted over two hours.  Majority catch being the redfish.  Great day on the water with a fun easy going couple.  And they brought some of their catch back into the French Quarter and had them prepared by the award winning chefs at GW Finns!  Check out those tasty plates at the bottom of the post.
