Had a great day on the water today despite the spotty weather.  Had a crew split three and three between two boats, myself and Captain Jacques of http://www.jakamosouth.com/.  We pretty much knew we had a 1/2 day to get it done with the weather rolling in and decided on plan redfish.  We went to two different spots and got on a good bite early.  My crew was fishing some little tiny ponds off a bayou and Jac was nearby in some ponds off larger lagoons.  Tide was high and the redfish were feeding good before the storm.  We got the crew just about a 6 man limit of reds , some drum, and some heads before noon.  I think Jac had me beat on numbers by a couple and I had him on size by a couple.  Great day and had them back high and dry just before the weather hit.

Had this one by casting over the grass, had to hop out to net him.
