Had a group down from Barksdale Air Force Base to fish with me and four of my fellow captains a few days ago.  The crew came down from Shreveport and stayed in one of the lodges for two days and fished with us one day.  I had Tim and Zeke in my vessel and we had an awesome day on the water.  Hit it early motoring out in the dark as we usually do.  Thunderstorms got cranked up early and added to the variables as we made our way to the fishing grounds.  Seas were a little rough but fishable and we got on a great trout bite early.  Zeke was a little under the weather do to the rough conditions and did a little chumming.  Once Tim figured out what it took to hook and land a speckled trout he was A MACHINE!  I'm talking about back to back keepers over the gunnel as fast as I could hand him a rod.  I would bait it, and switch him for a pole he just pulled a trout in on and he was out in the water getting another one in no time to repeat that trade off.  Zeke woke up in all this action and seas calmed a bit after one of the storms rolled passed.  Then they were both in the action throwing trout after trout over the gunnel.  We ended up catching their limit of speckled trout and a few more for the house.  Great day on the water!  Tried reds on the way in but tide was dead low.  Zeke managed one back at the lake but our main action was out in Breton Sound.
