Great day on the water a few days ago with repeat customer Stan and his son's Josh and Dave.  We were up against a forcast of 100% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms.  I started out close trying to find a bite within 5 miles of the dock. No good... but sky and radar looked semi trust worthy.  Another few miles to stop number 2.  No takers, carry on.  Bite was slow all morning and decided to change things up and go into a little bayou into the marsh.  We started catching.  Finding fish in the little ponds that were connected to the bayou by small creeks.  With the ultra high tide these little ponds were packed with nice reds and we put a beautiful box together before deciding to take it to the dock mid afternoon.  Good time on the water with great crew and best thing was we didn't even see lighting all day.
