Awesome day on the water with Jay and Paul!  Man were they in for a treat when they hopped aboard a few mornings ago.  We had flat seas and made our way straight offshore to take advantage of them.  On the way out we encountered a huge mass of various birds and a large pod of dolphins feeding on dead baby white trout, that I am not sure the cause of death of.  Hundreds of them just being scooped up from near the surface.  Allowed us to get really close to the dolphins watching them slurp of the little 4' fish one after another right at the edge of the boat.  Once offshore we hit rigs early in Breton sound averaging 2 fish off each rig.  Jumped around catching big redfish at each stop.  Big drag pulling battle, with many doubles we worked well keeping them out of the rig by walking the fish to the back of the boat and trolling motor pulling the boat away from the rig.  Fun when you have to turn them fast or its over makes it exciting.  Next stop was a sunken ship, which was so clear you could see the whole boat in the water and the fish in it.  We sight fished a couple nice slot redfish for dinner then at the end Jay drifted a bait up under the bow of the massive boat and hooked up on a monster 25-30lb plus redfish we landed and released.  To top it all off the best bite of the day was still to come.  In more open water we got on a massive school of 30-40 big bull redfish and drum.  The water was so clear you could see them swimming in formations beside the boat.  We would hook a big red, and others would follow.  We would pitch a plastic to the others watch one inhale the bait and then PEEEL drag.  Had a triples, and double like this for little over an hour then decided to let the big fellas be and head to the house.  It was a great day of fishing, and the clear water made it even more of a treat.  The guys wanted a catch and release day and boy did they get it.  Also donated 8 of the smaller reds to the fish poboy charity giveaways we host.  Which I am very thankful for.
