Great time on the water yesterday with a couple fun guys to fish with.  Scott up and married Stan's daughter so they might as well be fishin' buddies.  I think the guys must have been in a boat together quite a few times because they had the competitive jibes pretty much down pat.  Scott got off to an early lead with a big ol'redfish in the top end of edible bracket.  Stan followed up with biggest trout.  We caught a couple reds right off the bat then took a long cast out into open water and nailed a beautiful speckled trout.  Bout an hour later we had 75 silver wonders on ice by 8:30am.  Didn't even have to go up to Biloxi or down to 4-horse/oak river we just stayed close and caught fish.  Everything 2' under a popping cork on live shrimp or plastics.  Switched gears to pick up our 8 more reds to polish off their limit of 10 redfish.  Found um at drains and points either under a cork or pitching tight lined soft plastics on 3/8ths oz jig heads.  We could see the minnows jumping to evade the redfish as the tide brought them over the schools of hungry redfish.  Fishing will be ON FIRE until this front hits on Friday.
