Had a good day back in the Muscle Bay Area. Plenty of trout to be had on lives and gulp under a cork but just keepers no big ones. Found the slightly larger trout mixed with more small ones along a bank line. They smashed a top dog for a bout an hour until the sun broke through the clouds.

Limited on trout early and went to the flooded grass for the reds. They were way up in tiny ponds some with 10-15' of grass you had to cast over. Pulled the biggest red out of a pond maybe 20' across, had to drag him across the flooded grass to get him.

Was headed back across the MRGO and the birds were going crazy in a tide rip. Of course it was gafftops at low tide muddy water but they hammered a 4” Gulp fished on a jighead and the larger ones can pull some drag. Also picked up on flounder in the MRGO to make the trifecta but he was not traveling with friends.

Windy but a good day.
