Had a couple really good fellers in my boat a few days ago.  Rob and Jim knew each other through work, both being lawyers, and decided to give Louisiana fishing a go while they were in New Orleans.  Great day out there, a little cloudy but not too chilly.  Trout action was hot and heavy like it has been the last few weeks.  Was not a problem getting the guys on a couple great trout bites.  Also got treated to some drag pulling redfish action out there.  Both the guys landed some beautiful redfish.  Had a double that I got on video on some nice 30+" fish.

Being from out of town the guys didn't need to take all their catch, but did decide to take a portion for dinner at Maurepas Foods.  I called up Mike the cook/co-owner and got them hooked up with an excellent meal in the Bywater that evening with their catch.  You can check this out in the "cook your catch" section.  The rest of their catch they donated to our "Charity Poboys!".  And to top it all off Rob offered to send me a check to cover all expenses on our next giveaway!  Big time thanks for that!  Going to feed 200 hungry people on the streets of New Orleans.  I will try to get enough fish to do this one between Thanksgiving and Christmas to make it a gift to them for the holidays.

Fishing continues to be on fire between these cold fronts.  I am also still on a very good flounder bite if anyone is interested in that.  Y'all give me a call and book a trip before all these fronts give the trout lock-jaw!
