Had a group from Siemens power on board yesterday.  Great time with some very lively fellows.  It was a 5 person crew hosted by Mr. Stan. Fun guys, most the time we had about 2 or 3 hecklers from the peanut gallery giving "helpful advice" to the others in the boat.  Good times for sure.  I could tell at the dock when the guys were so lively at 6am that it was going to be a fun trip.  After a little drive by attempt in Lake Borgne we headed deep after speckled trout and at our first stop, first cast, corks were down and fish were flying in the boat.  Size was decent and we put 30 trout in the boat in short order.  With about half of those coming from plastics.  When the bite slowed and fish started to get small we decided to hit a rig further out to get on bigger fish.  Went to a place we have been hammering them and turned up they had packed up and found another home.  Oh well couple stops later we were back to our morning spot for some more insane trout action.  Doubles and triples until number 70 hit the ice, and the heat was getting pretty bad out there in the dead calm.  Took it back inside to hit one redfish spot on the way in for a red and a sheephead and they got the crew rolling back to the dock.  They had plans to clean up, nap up, and see what New Orleans had to offer for the evening.  Not a banner day of trout massacre but still dang good action and fun times with good folks.  Hope they come back down and I can show them that it gets even better then that.

Dave with a fine speckled trout.

Neil "Babushka" with a goodnern.

Stan with a beauty.

Rob made a perfect cast on this redfish. ;D

Chip and Dave displaying a monster marsh sheephead Chip reeled in.

Now that's how you hold a fish for a picture.

The crew's haul they had shipped back fresh overnight to eat on once they got home.
