Had a fun trip a couple days ago with a three pack of Texans.  The guys were already talking smack about who was going to catch what when we rolled out of the quarter.  I took the guys deep into the marsh to get a look at the skinny water we fish.  A few trout and sheephead were the first to come aboard the Glossie Mae, but we had kinda missed the falling tide and the marsh was VERY low.  I made the call and we took the long hike back to the 40ft water of the channel where we have had piles of bait and those that feed on them lately.  The guys killed it...  Jeff was first to strike switching to artificials early.  BIG REDFISH.  Guys shortly followed suit and proceeded to boat big drag pulling reds one right after another.  Chris stuck with the bait a little longer and caught the boys a couple more tasty sheephead, before joining the ranks of the redfishermen.  Fun day with these guys, and Jeff I think you did catch your weight in redfish, but I think Matt would say that has something to do with your "size".  :D

Matt getting us started in the marsh.

Chris with a marsh sheep, Jeff up front with the banana blues.

Jeff's first to strike on big reds.

Chris' Beast.

Matt with a "mudperch".

Matt and Jeff with a fine double-up!  Hold um out further Matt.
