Another full box out at Hopedale.

Took a friend I just met from California out to see a little bit of what Louisiana fishing has to offer. We got our limit of trout and 5 nice reds. Also found some sheepshead and one rig just covered up in 4-5' hammerhead sharks. He had never caught a shark or a fish that big so we had a blast fighting them on 15 lb line. Lots of nice action. Even stopped at the rocks on the way in to let some sail cats stretch the line.

Trout - rigs in Eloi
Sharks - Central out in Breton
Sail Cats - rocks on outgoing tide 50 yards out from the rocks under cork.
Reds - back in the marsh at little tidal movement cuts.

Everything caught on shrimp but the reds which we caught on some cracked crabs and gold spinners.

If I keep going to Hopedale I am going to have to invest in bulk filet knives cause those little motors are burnin' up... :D can anyone suggest a nice industrial grade electric knife?
