This report is from Friday. Had Eric and Tanner down from Kansas city for a little Louisiana fishing. I took them into Biloxi Marsh to see just how beautiful our fishing can be in the fall. Started out working points in small bays putting a nice box of trout together. It was hunt and peck with 10 or 12 keepers at each stop. The guys were having a great time but I wanted to find them some real Louisiana action before the day was out. Captain Jacques of Jakamo South helped us make that possible calling me in on a red hot bite. We let him finish up then proceeded to sling trout in the boat one after another as huge flocks of ibis flew overhead. Marsh hawks, white pelicans, snipe, and ducks also crossed the sky from time to time. Between that and the excellent bite we all got one of those moments in nature that is just hard to describe unless you are there. Guys ended the day with their limit of trout and a few heads. we were very happy campers on the way to the dock that afternoon.
