Had a group of 6 out today. I had three in my boat, Eric, Brett, and Kyle. Captain Jacques of Jakamo South took the other three fellers. Had to work for um today. Storms and wind kept us off our original planned area to fish and just did a little pickin' away everywhere we went as we went towards plan B. Jacques got on a good bite and I came to join with about 25 in the box, Jaques finished up and we put another 20 in the box before the storms hit. Had to loop way around to get away from the lightning ended up waiting it out at the MRGO rocks huddled up next to a shrimp boat because he was a little taller then me. And when it rolled away past us we made a run for it. Stopped off in the MRGO channel and picked up the rest of our limit of specks. Crew ended with 150 speckled trout, a few white trout, a spanish, and a couple gaffys. Considering the odds and the curvesballs mother nature threw us it was a damn fine day of fishing.

First the guys after our little storm front experience.  Dig the girl jacket.. ;D

Miss Amy, our lightning rod...

And the crew with their haul of 160 or so tasty critters.
