Had a great day on the water a few days ago with a couple, Austin and Pearl. They were really fun to fish with, very layed back. We headed deep into the Sound in search of those big fish. Catching some truely drag pulling speckled trout, mixed with all many of other Breton Sound locals. Sharks, lady fish, spanish mackerel, sheephead ect. They two had a blast seeing all the variety that the Louisiana coastal waters have to offer. And packed the box with some tasty critters to take home with them in the process. Pearl was definately the MVP for the day. She had some kinda connection with the big trout and kept pulling one in just when we thought the bite had turned off. Was fun fishing with them and hope to get a chance to get out there with them again in the future.

Pearl with our first big fish of the day at sunrise.

Austin's got the mack.

Mini-Jaws.

Austin with my favorite fish to eat, sheephead.

The happy couple with their haul of fresh gulf fish for dinner.
