Had a family down from Ruston Louisiana in the boat with me. Pat, Connie, Katie, and Beau fished with me today. And Pat and Beau are comming back for round two, tomorrow morning. Had a little rocky start today trying to find shelter. Started on on some lee shorelines around Eloi. Plenty of fish but not plenty of keepers. Had just over ten when captain Jaques, of http://www.jakamosouth.com , came over the radio with something better so we went to join them, thanks cap. Great action today and over at this second stop more fish were going in the box. Still some throw backs but just bring plenty of bait or fish plastics and weed um out. We fished half DOA and half lives/dead and kept um rolling. Few nice fish mixed in which was a treat. Also some bullreds and gafftops to stretch the line. Crew ended up with 90 trout when they cried uncle and said they had plenty of fish.

Katie's first catch of the day.

The girls got a jump on the fellas, Connie caught the very first fish of the day.

Little farther son team work on them trouts

Beau caught the biggun of the day on a DOA.

Fish fry comming to a north Louisiana piney woods near you!
