Had return clients down. Mike, Justin, and Brian have been one some of the better trips I have ever had. So I figure they are good luck charms. And boy did we need it! Wind was up 15-20mph out of the west so I knew the Sound was most likely out. We decided to go far to the east side of the channel and arrived to find water VERY muddy, fished 5 minutes had to make a big move to semi protected water. Fish our way back across Eloi picking up a few at each stop working up towards 20 fish. Made a couple stops back in the MRGO channel and ended up with a good bite for another 40 and 2 reds. 60 trout and 2 reds, not a banner day, but if I did not have my good luck charms with me I am thinking it could have been worse. Back at the dock before the big rains and guys were really happy with the nice 9th inning finish. Was a bit handicapped all day, have a wound on my foot from power washer and gulf water made it take a turn for the worse. Ended up in Oshner with IV antibiotics by the end of the evening... good times. Gunna keep my foot tho looks like, heh otherwise I'll get a peg and a parrot.

Brian's big red.

They taste better when you work for um.
