Had another great day on the water yesterday with a crew of return customers. Had Harry senior, His two sons Kieth and Harry Jr. As well as grandson Codey. We got a decently early start and made our way to open water. When we cleared the long rocks I was a little worried with the chop. Pretty nasty and Harry's knees are not what they used to be but we carried on. Good thing too because by the time we rolled up to the first stop the water was already calming down. We got some shrimp in the water and imeadiately started putting speckled trout in the boat. Tide was RIPPING so we were fishing carolina rigs with 1/2oz. Trout were flying over the gunnels. Along with spanish mackerel and the occasional catfish. Mixed trout too, with one in 3-4 being a throw back. But some nice 18-20' fish fish in the mix as well. Kept um feeding and had number 100 in the boat just before 9am. Guys were happy but with it so early in the day decided to go after redfish. Headed towards Lake Fortuna for my route back to the inside and started working the banks. First stop, ZZZZZZzzzzzz, ma man Keith on a big red. Was nice action at every bankline we worked putting 10 beautiful reds, 3 drum, and a flounder into the second box. Called it a day, and headed for the barn. Fellas were really happy with their haul to bring home and had a great day on the water Got some great video will upload later.
