Had 3 generations of Rickys in my boat yesterday, for what turned out to be another trout SLAM. Had senior Ricky - Biff, Middle Ricky - Big Rick, youngest Ricky - Rick, and his brother 'Blake the first'. Got them to the dock 30 minutes early to try and beat the wind that was supposed to build. We headed straight for the sound and were out there before sun up. Wind and waves picked up earlier then expected but it did not stop the double and triples from flying into the boat. Trout after trout caught on 1/4oz Carolina rig just kept comming over the gunnels until we hit number 100 not long after 8am. Seas were worst I have seen them all year on the run back to the safety of the rocks. We made a couple redfish stops on the way in and our senior Ricky caught his biggest ever redfish. A solid redfish just small enough to be good on the grill. And Blake the first showed the older guys how to do it boating one as well. I think that boy caught more then his body weight in fish yesterday. We were still ahead of schedule as we continued back to Campo's and stopped off near Hopedale for another round of garfish rodeo. Got Blake on one bout as long as he was tall to finish off the day!

Trout are slammin, redfish thick in the marsh, and 'trouphy' garfish all in a day out of Shell Beach right now! Go gettum boys.

Biff was a machine with that plastic!
